Tire Pump Identification
Anyone know the age or application, of this pump ?
21" tall 1 1/4" tube Handle 7" x 1 1/4" Foot 6 1/8" x 2 1/16" Stamped on the fill valve : Gurnard Mfg Co Beverly, Mass Pat Dec 17 1912 |

Probaby current circa 1920, pat. dates mostly preceed manufacturing dates. Do not know if it was toolkit issue for auto co., but pumps were also a general sale item.Looks well made & in good condition.

pumps very similar to this sold from 68 cents to $1.28 in the automotive catalogs of the period
