Default 1936 ford roadster seat bracket & package tray help needed

hey guys, i need some info on the seat mounting on the 36 roadster. i need photos & dimensions of the metal mounting brackets used, i think there are some that go from back of seat to package tray, and bottom of seat back to floor. I also am not sure i have the package tray in the correct location. can anyone tell me the approximate depth of the package tray from tack strip portion of body & top of seat? or how long the package tray brackets are supposed to be? I've been having to make all this stuff since we never had any of the original stuff. I thought I had all that figured out but the new la barron bonney seat back is drilled for the package tray being alot higher than i have it, also the uphostery flap on the bonney seat is way higher. Please help!

Rick,

From the center of the lower mounting bolt hole for the top irons down to the top of the shelf is 2-3/4". In your photo where you show your brackets welded to the inner body flange, the bracket should be centered on 2 pre-existing holes in the flange. The bottom of the bracket that hangs down should be 6-7/8" from the bottom of the inner flange at a point centered between the holes. On the sides, at the location where the seat back is, it is 7" from the top of the flange down to the top of the shelf. From the center of the rear (between the two brackets), it is 10" from the top of the flange down to the top of the shelf. I think the shelf is 1/2" or 5/8" thick.

Good luck!
