Yeh,
I've seen plenty of roos like that and I read about Roger's death during the week.
An angry roo is not to be taken lightly. This guy was trying to save his dogs before the roo waded into the dam and lured the dogs in. Once the dogs follow, they are dead. The cunning roo will wait in water deep enough that the dogs have to swim and when they approach, the it will hold the dogs under the water till they drown. This guy knew that and tried to step in. You will see how the roo tries to disembowel him - another technique of a roo.

An open road,
A sunlit sky ...
An outback road..
I once heard the outback defined as all that country out beyond where the wind starts.
