Default 1928 Model A Ford

I am wanting to know if I put a 6.5 Lion Head on my 1928 Model A Ford if I can use the car for general tours with out hurting the engine. I realize this may be a head used for racing but I am not interested in racing just a strong touring car?

Raymond, Welcome to fordbarn. You accidentally posted in a forum intended for questions to the editors. Leave it here but also place it here: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=3

From what I have heard the head should be fine. The only thing you might want to check is if your pistons come up over the top of the block there may be an interference with the head. I say this without knowing how much recess there is in a Lion head, you might check your pistons and ask when you buy it.
