That big radiator reminds me of some of the post WWI Stanley Steamer cars but not all the characteristics are there. It does have a big radiator though. On a Stanley is would be a condenser. There were a lot of manufacturers that came and went in the early years before the depression.

Notice how close the fenders are to the tires on the mystery car? I wonder if the right side fenders are that close?

Pay close attention to the windshield and stanchions. The mystery car doesn't match any of the pictures that are legible.

how about Hupmobile? In the Minnesota Street Rod Association "Linechaser" that I received in the mail today, in the "Did you Know" column there is a picture (drawing) of a Hupmobile that is similar--not the same. The hood is longer and the roof support rods are angled forward, but the line of the roof and rear pillar are the same. Couldn't find many pics of Hupmobile on the net. Regards. Rod

Rod, the picture in this months Linechaser of the '22 Hup has
the 6 cyl engine with the longer hood.

Here are pics of a 1919 and a 1924 Hupmobile, and the
Hups do have a lot of similarities to the OP's mystery car.

Graeme's AMCO car in post # 35 looks close, too.

Billy Durant wanted to take lizzie Ford to watch the Rugby but he couldn't because it was Willys night.

the tell tale signs of the mystery car are #1 the hood has no round edge, looks like it was made in a brake=sharp corners, and the radiator matches that. #2 the windshield has no conventional stantions, instead the main frame bolts straight to the cowl. drum headlights were in vogue in the mid 20's, and front brakes were not common until the mid 20's. i could swear i have seen that hood shape before, but...its a vacant spot in my memory

The original person that posted this was just looking to date the picture, more than knowing what the make was. Should be enough info for him to guess within a year or two. I would say early to mid 20's is a good guess.

The top and hub caps and front brakes look better but the cowl to door and hood and radiator are different
