Default Is this a correct adjustable wrench for a Model A?

Is the bottom wrench correct for an A?
The person selling it wants $20.00 for all three wrenches.

Yes, the nub on the end is what makes it Model A.

Offer him $10. for the A adjustable one. By the others only if you need them. The square bottom is for the differential plugs.

The bottom one is Ford V8 to about '41.
As noted by Mot, the Ford USA stamp came in late '31.
Most Model A monkey wrenches only had a manufacturers mark except for 1928 when they did have a Ford script plus manufacturers mark.
The tang for the diff. bung was not unique to Model A's ; the last Model T monkey wrench [ '26 '27] used it for either the regular diff or if it had a Ruckstell.

ADJUSTABLE WRENCH:
"All adjustable wrenches were 9-3/8" long and had a square end on the handle, which is used to remove the drain plug for the differential housing. Some wrenches did not have the Ford script". My Judging Standards book is the older version. Has this info been changed?

You must have to work like lightening to put one end of the wrench in the hole and turn it with the other end or were there two wrenches?

Thanks for all of the information gentlemen. I think I'll give him a call and see if we can strike a deal. Not trying to build a correct set of tools for my truck but since it is correct for an A I think that it will look good on my shop peg board along with all my other "wall art".

Ten dollars is an easy find at Hershey for the adjustable wrench with the nub on the bottom for the differential plug. I have purchased them for half that at Hershey from "non'professional vendors".
As Rusty stated and Don Turley supported, page 17-1 of the current RESTORATION GUIDELINES carries Rusty's quotation for the Model A's adjustable wrench.

the quote from the JS is correct
but there is NO mention of the USA
the new JS will have the USA after november of 1931 only
so ANY wrench with the USA on them is incorrect until after november 1931
USA is the key word ,not ford script

It will work, but the T wrench is the same as the early A one - Ford script only. They are a bit harder to find - then there is one with no script or markings other than an "M" for the manufacturer of the wrench but exactly the same in every other respect, these are easier to buy with the lack of a Ford script.

No matter - they all sell in the $10.00 range - not much more and sometimes less
