Default Antique Nationals

This years Nationals will be on June 3rd. Same place, Auto Club Raceway in Fontana, CA. Same cost, rules, etc. but we are not sure yet if they'll allow blown cars to run.

That is one event I've always wanted to get to. It must be close to its 40th anniversary.

Jim,
I read yesterday that the drag strip at Fontana will be shut down this week.

How will this impact your event?

Crazydaddyo, Right now things are in limbo. Apparently the strip was operating under a temporary permit pending an environmental report that had to do with building a sound-wall. Also apparently the report was rejected and therefore the permit was pulled. This all has to go through the courts, so with only 3 months until our event, we aren't sure what will happen. We are exploring other venues, just in case. The irony is that only one person had objected to the noise level, and sued the strip, now that person has moved away but things are still going thru the courts. Bummer!
