Thanks to all who posted pictures of the 39 deluxe steering wheels. It is appreciated. Everyone tells me that mine is not complete and they are right. My wheel is missing those decorative bands that run perpendicular to the three spokes about halfway down. I did not know you could get them off. are they available?

Rich, The '36 - '39 Ford Banjo steering wheel has always been a hot item, and has been copied a number of times by aftermarket suppliers, as well as by custom hotrod shops. I have never seen an original Ford wheel missing the connecting bars, but then, I haven't seen everything yet.
