Default Removing a 30 Roadster Body.

I've checked out the archieves till I am blue in the face . I have the Roadster body 1 foot in the air and would like to know the easiest next step. Is it easier to break down the light switch and pull the steering wheel or detach the whole column at the frame and pull whole column AND wheel intact ?. Column is free from the tank.

The steering wheel is on just not visible in the pic
Nothing on the Collumn is disturbed

Open top car bodies seem like they would be something to be really careful about how you lifted it off the frame. Never did one myself, only helped with a Coupe years ago.

Sedans and Coupes have to be a lot more rigid than a Roadster or Phaeton, I'm just sayin'.

No harm in asking for help better than screwing it up. I'd be the one to booger up the sills I can guarantee THAT

Brent, any insight here you have a lot of experience with all body types............

From "The Music Man" Iowa Stubborn:

Oh, there's nothing halfway
About the Iowa way to treat you,
When we treat you
Which we may not do at all.
There's an Iowa kind of special
Chip-on-the-shoulder attitude.
We've never been without.
That we recall.
We can be cold
As our falling thermometers in December
If you ask about our weather in July.
And we're so by God stubborn
We could stand touchin' noses
For a week at a time
And never see eye-to-eye.

If it can be done with a closed car, it should be able to be done with a roadster.
