Rudy ..... '35 Ford brake drums are one-year-only parts. They appear as BELOW with the perimeter ribs and have the little 'nibs' cast into the hub just inboard of each wheel stud to PROPERLY support the center of the '35 wire wheels. This feature which is missing from 1940 - 1948 drums (which will bolt-on and function in place of 1935 drums) can be "fixed" with the use of support rings made for the purpose and available through old Ford parts vendors. One more alternative is to buy brand new drums or drums and hubs manufactured by BOLING BROTHERS which are available from Gary Mussman ("Krylon32" here on F'Barn), an authorized dealer for Boling Bros. products offering a 10% savings for F'Barn members.

'35 drums are designed as 12" inner diameter and make use of 1-3/4" wide brake shoes. Contact Michael Driskell, owner of 3rd Gen Automotive (Contact info BELOW) for full scoop on the brake shoes, etc.

'35 brake linings were originally riveted to the brake shoes; they were not bonded.
