Default Coils not buzzing

I went to start my 27 T and the coils will not buzz. I used a light meter to check if I was getting power. The light says I'm getting power to the coil box but coils will not buzz. Any idea what's wrong?

The coils buzz when the contacts on the commutator are touching, thus making a ground. Check that the timer is clean. Also check the contacts on the coils. Clean them if they are corroded. You may need to put some more tension on the brass contact fingers inside the coil box. Check that the points on top of the coils have not stuck together. John
