Default 36 woodie side curtains

Finished installing the rear curtain window today. Painted the canvas with latex paint. Mounted the curtain as the raw canvas will shrink. A little painters tape so the fresh paint won't rub off on the wood. Second picture of the inside also shows a side window stored up under the roof. Rear curtain window also stores up under the roof. Third picture is of the side windows. A sheet metal shop helped me with the frames for the 4 side windows.

I inspected a set of original curtains one time but couldn't remember many details. Someone posted a picture here on the Fordbarn that was the most helpful one for me. Thanks. That is the forth picture and it also shows the rear window stored up under the roof. Fifth picture is a rear curtain from a 32 woodie.

Took me many months of trial and error to make the complete set with only pictures to guide me. Hard time finding an upholstery guy to make them as well. The one I found had to re-do his work at least twice. The upholstery guy who couldn't stitch straight was who I got.

The first one of the back had piping around the edges except in piping install was awful. Throw that one out. Remade with a different edge. Window was crooked on both sides. Took it back and installed a square window. Guy put the snaps in backwards, etc etc.

Car will shortly appear on BringATrailer.com. Wish me luck.

Glad you finally got there. I too had to learn the hard way, before contracting anyone learn of their reputation, from previous customers. If possible view the work.
