Smile Just Rubbing It In

For all my unfortunate brethren tired of playing in the snow - It was a pleasant 82 degrees today. Had to choose between painting trim on the house or taking a drive. Photo shows my decision....

Dollar Bill, excellent choice. I had the choice of clearing snow or wash the pickup. Sooo...
I did both. It was a good day. Jeff

Look at the Avatar: both these toys got a nice long run today, as did most of the others, to include the ragtops.....got some looks, but just waved....love the sound of those pipes!

I make no money plowing sunshine. We're looking 10-18 inches of snow starting now and going through tomorrow morning. My wife and and a 91 year old woman were supposed to leave for Florida tomorrow,so they were all packed and ready to go yesterday. They went off to breakfast early, and must have changed their minds.Last night they called and told me they were in Baltimore.I have almost zero tolerance for working in the humidity, but it feels good to work in the cold.It is 18 degrees out right now,and I've been shoveling roofs all morning.Feels good after I stop.

I am reminded of the famous saying by Sam Clemens (aka Mark Twain) about the weather:

"The coldest Winter I ever spent . . . . was a Summer in San Francisco."
