Default How to install windows in doors of fordor?

What's the secret to installing windows (with track attached to bottom of glass) into the doors of a fordor?

I've tried inserting them (sideways) from above, but there's insufficient space to turn them upright once they get lowered into the door.

Which Fordor are you talking about? If its a 1928 Leatherback Fordor I can help you out.

The car is a 1930 Briggs town sedan.

Thanks.

A couple months ago I installed all the windows in my '30 Briggs Fordor. I even video taped it for just a moment as this, but I'll be darned if I can figure out how/where to post a video. Anyway, is there any upholstery in your doors? I was having a hard time understanding what you were trying to describe by "inserting them sideways..." I installed mine w/o upholstery by attaching one felt strip first, putting in the window in closer to the bottom, and then rolling the window up most of the way and then sliding the other felt up and in place.
