Thanks guys. I've been fwd.ing him a lot of the posts on engine vibration. Wow, tons of posts! He did replace the motor mounts with the float a mount (?) type and the vibration is still there. Checked the crank, flywheel, etc... He might just have to live with it.

I'm an MG guy just trying to help out my dad. However, though I love my MGs, I do enjoy driving the Model As!

I would first of all talk to a different mechanic. I would question his ability if he chaged both motor and trans without knowing it was the cause. Likely the best mechanics around with the greatest knowledge are members of a Local Model A club. I would contact the club and ask for assistance. You will find them anxious to help I am sure.

Thanks. This mechanic knows what he is doing on Model As. My dad had a few spare transmissions and asked him to replace...he was also upgrading to an overdrive. The rebuilt motor came from a place in Colorado, I think.?
