Radiator shim question
This is on my 29 CCPU. I am assembling this from parts from many sources and having a lot of fun and frustration. I seem to have to fight on most every part I install and learned long ago that you have to make aftermarket parts fit. I am installing a newly re-cored radiator and having a problem with clearance for the lower radiator hose. I will have to use shims of at least 3/8'' on both sides. Is this too much for later hood alignment or will body shims make everything work? This may be a AA radiator if that makes any difference. Thanks for the help

Re: Radiator shim question
Where does the lower hose hit?
You do have the correct 28-9 steel pipe, right? This pipe has the bend down low, close to the radiator outlet. |

Re: Radiator shim question
Is your front cross member a 28-29 or 30-31?
