Default 16 spline Slip yoke

I converted a 40 3 speed to an open driveshaft. Now I need a 16 spline slip yoke. I know it's been asked before, but never found a good answer. What years should I look for? Or where can I buy a new one. Some of the places I looked on the net were confusing. Does anybody have a link I can go to, even if it's E-Bay.
Thanks in advance,
Dennis

H;i the original yokes are usually with the driveshafts, use a pressed in u joint. I have heard of a GM yoke that will work. the yoke is fixed by a bolt into the output shaft right? Others will jump in on this post. Newc

55 chev. power glide yoke will work .. A little longer but can be trimmed . I think the original is about an 1" shorter. I can check my pile and look when I get out in the shop .. Not too hard to locate for you I would think. Van

The 21C-4841 was the first knuckle & plug (or slip yoke) for the open drive commercials and it was used from 1942 to 1952. It should be relatively common, especially when folks are swapping out the Dana Spicer stuff for something else.

We stock them.....it’s made to fit the regular passenger car transmission but will fit the short pickup trans like you have by trimming it down about an inch and a half. They have the same knuckle set up as the original Ford pickup driveshaft did.
