Default 31 Steering Column Support

Hi, I'm wondering what the original 30/31 roadster steering column support looks like and where it attaches. Does anyone have a picture or sell these? Thanks, Bill

Default Re: 31 Steering Column Support

The 30 and early 31 cars have the column support on the bottom of the gas tank. If your car has the gas shutoff under the hood, and not inside the car under the tank, then it is a late 31, and the column support is separate from the tank, and bolts to the holes that bolt the tank to the body, just under the dash rail, above the column. The support bracket is available reproduced, from several suppliers.

Here is a previous post listing quite a few Model A parts vendors. I don't know if any have photos of parts but ya may luck out.
