Great post especially since I shook hands and chatted with Edsal last summer.
I liked some of the details and listened to that vehicle run at Greenfield village a couple of years ago at the Antique car festival. It was a real kick to hear that baby run. WOW! Ken |

Edsel II is to be admired for so richly bringing the history of the company to the forefront. His efforts to support our hobby in many ways are much appreciated.
The video is a superb production, I like the way they interspersed current video made to look period along with original photos to illustrate the race. Chicago can claim the first American auto race held on Thanksgiving Day in 1895 but for sure the race between Ford and Winton thirteen years later changed everything. |
