Default 1950 Ford Wiper

Hi All,
Installing a wiper motor and transmission in my 50. I have the speaker grille out and as I am looking at the wiper motor should the screw heads that attach the motor to the transmission be facing me or should the rubbereized nuts be facing me? In other words should should I be able to directly reach the screw heads or would I need to reach around back of the wiper motor to reach the screw heads. The motor and transmission are out of the car at the moment, been apart for a long time..
