Default What carb should I use?

Working on a LB going in a 35 coupe. And I don't have the correct Stromberg 48, or 97.
I do have model's
91-99
8BA
59
Can someone tell me the difference between and the one that will give me the best performance?

All are good carbs, and properly rebuilt any of these would work well. The 91-99 is probably closest to your year. But the 59 is s good carb as well , the 8 BA will have an extra hole you will have to plug, for the loadamatic distributor used on 8BA motors.
My personal choice would be the 91-99.

If your intake manifold has an exhaust heat hole in the carb mounting surface, which a lot of the early one did, your gonna have to do something like, fab a stainless steel thin shim to go under the carb, or somehow block that hole. to stop the exhaust burning the power valve in any of your listed carbs. Obviously this isn't an issue with the Stromberg family of carbs.
Martin.

Good point. I suppose he could tap it for a flush mount plug as well.

I have attached a pic of the Aluminum manifold I intent to use. From what I can tell, I don't have exhaust heat holes?

Don't forget to get the correct fuel pump rod for the aluminum manifold.
