Default Sun Master Motor Tester

I have the opportunity to buy this Sun machine which can test coils and condensers as well as two other things. Wasn't told anything about the working condition of it. Have always wanted one of these for their uses and just how cool it looks. I do not know that much about them but I can always learn.

How much do these machines go for these days? I know the wiring being cracked is the big deal.

If its going to be a garage decoration I would personally pay more than a couple hundred for it, unless seller guarantees that all functions work. Then the price can go up considerably. Not many sellers can make them work. On third unit from the left there are two D cell battery compartments. If the batteries were left in there they are most likely leaking and have ruined the wiring and battery compartment cases. Each of the four units can be removed and gone thru to repair or rewire. Keep in mind most units that are pre 1954 are 6 volt only.

Guy is asking $150 for it, and I do plan on using it as I have a lot of condensers and coils for testing.

For $150 I'd buy it in a heart beat.

GRAB IT! There is a guy that does work on them (you will have to google it as I don't remember his name or website) and may have the manual.
