'33 pickup accelerator pedal ?????
My '33 pickup has a ball on the interior shank for another linkage hook-up. Was this leftover from '32 vehicles or is there supposed to be another linkage that connects up inside the cab to the hand throttle lever thru the dash ????

Re: '33 pickup accelerator pedal ?????
I assume that the truck is the same as the '32 passenger/truck (that is probably dangerous). I think the knob to the left side of the instrument cluster was attached to a rod that went to a bell crank and which then went to the pedal. What is in that hole, does it look like there was any bell crank on the tunnel?

Re: '33 pickup accelerator pedal ?????
Don't believe 33 V8 commercial had a bellcrank. The bellcrank was afixed on the dash tunnel of the 32's.33 V8 commercial had full length choke and throttle rods.Your pedal probably was a carry over from 32.

Re: '33 pickup accelerator pedal ?????
Yes that clears it up, mine was a 4 cylinder and later converted to V8 engine.
