Suggest removing those nice shiney new grease zerts at the rear axel bearings and replacing with a plug before someone accidently pumps the brake drum full of grease.

No, Just a friendly reminder. It has been done in the past by unknowing individuals who upon seeing a grease zert decide it must be greased. This location was not one of Ford's better idea's. You have a great start to a real fine looking truck. Very good quality workmanship.

what did you use for a cam--looks like you will need the adpter button for the distributer

Its a stock cam and yes have the button.

I swapped out distributors and that made all the difference, runs like a clock now.. I'm starting on the cab now, rust free here we come.

Are those exhaust manifolds 41 only? Also what paint did you use on the engine?

Those are '40-'41 manifolds, and its Ford green from one of the vintage Ford parts vendors....
