That's a pretty wide open question. Can you narrow it down some?

The Green Bible lists 59A 9350-A as fitting 1932-1948 passenger 90 and 100 HP. This says it should work but not necessarily be correct for a high point restoration.

Been a long time but I think I bought what was listed as a 34 pump for my 46 59 AB, does not have the sediment bowl.

Only with '34 or later intake manifolds and fuel pump stands/oil filler tubes. '32 and '32 intake manifolds require modifications plus the '34 and up fuel pump stand/oil filler tube and a different fuel pump push rod. The fuel pump to carburetor line on '32-'33s would also have to be modified or replaced.

It would be helpful if you stated what engine and intake manifold you have in mind as well as what you mean by "correct"; functionally speaking or as built?

The 97 is a 2 barrel Stromberg carburetor, is this what you are trying to say? Is is correct to assume you have a fuel pump on there with the correct height stand and length push rod? You are asking if you can buy a rebuilt fuel pump to use as a spare and expect it to be a bolt on if you need it? How about a picture of the one you have? It might be a minor amount of work (lines?) to get it to fit but you don't want that on the road, check it first.

Fuel pumps many be similar, but the push rods vary between years, and whether the intake manifold is iron or aluminum, and the mount is correct. Any small variance can have a big effect on performance.

Don't the pumps with the glass bowl start later. Like in the 40s. I like them and run one on my 38. 36 has the standard no bowl.

An old wise/wives tale but if you replace the gasket with a cut playing card you add pressure. Maybe so... not likely. But I like the ace of spades or the 2 of diamonds.
