Default 12V equivalent of a 6V bulb

I have an old Signal Stat turn signal switch and it has two indicator lamps in it. The bulbs are #55's which are rated at 7 volts. I want to use the signal switch on a 12 volt system. Does anyone have a cross reference for this? Thanks!!

The GE 57 is the 12-volt equivalent for a GE 55. If you google for a GE miniature bulb catalog for specs you should be able to match any bulb by globe type, socket type, and candle power.
