Default Reproduction horn sound

Finished installing my two reproduction horns on my 33 and recorded this brief video with its sound.

http://vid1190.photobucket.com/album...rn%20sound.mp4

I have never heard the sound of the original horn and have no way to compare. Would like to know if this sound is even close to the original. I am using a 6 volt relay as recommended by the manufacturer. These repop horns can not be adjusted. My impression is that they sound horrible and very dull. The horns look very nice though so at least for appearance they are great. Manuel

As compared to the original horns on my '34, they're not even close. They sound more like buzzers as opposed to horns. Too bad they cannot be adjusted. They do look good though....

At the three minute and 56 second mark in this video, they sound the horns....

Thanks for your comments. I was lucky to find a restored original horn on e-bay and recorded the following three brief videos so people can compare the sounds:

1) This is the sound of the original horn: A high pitch sound

http://vid1190.photobucket.com/album...rn%20sound.mp4

2) This is the sound of my 6 volt reproduction horn: A low pitch, buzzer-like sound

http://vid1190.photobucket.com/album...0sound%202.mp4

3) This is the sound of a combination of one original plus one reproduction. It has a two-tone sound. May be it is closer to what it was originally offered? I will leave these 2 on the car until I can find an additional original horn.

Yes, you're getting "closer"....

I have to ask, but you're certain they can't be adjusted? What's under the covers? No set screws or double screw ends at the top of the points? I don't want to sound insulting, but those sound like an insult by themselves. How about a link to those or a picture with the covers off?

I finally disassembled the reproduction horn shown on the video to see if there is anything there that may be adjustable. Please look at these pictures that show the internal components. Is there anything there that corresponds to a sound adjuster? I don't really know what to look for. I have been trying to find a second restored horn with no luck and this is all I have for now. If there are make/break contact points in the mechanism, maybe the gaps are out of adjustment.
