Default Seal beam adapter kit behind original lens

Anybody using the Seal beam adapter kit in their original headlight buckets and lens?
Currently I'm using the "Dietz" sytle 6V headlights but have the original headlight buckets for my car and would like to put those back on.
I would like to see what it looks like before I commit to go that route.
If you have a picture of your headlights with the kit installed I would sure apprisiate seeing them, it would help me greatly in my decision.

I had sealed beam headlights behind the regular lenses for a number of years. It was terrible. Think about trying to focus a bulb filament with the sealed beam glass and then trying to do the same with the regular lens. All you get is something equivalent to a front marker light.

Don't do it.

I did this on my mom's A. The light goes every which way; you can't see very well, but you sure can be seen--from any direction, including the sky!

Thank you all
Wasn't a very "bright" idea, you talked me out of doing it the quick and easy way, and also the dumb way.
Going to redo the originals...the original way.
If anything I could always get one one them fancy LED bulbs for it later down the road

My car came with the sealed beam behind the original lense. I can see well and have no issues but when I replaced one of the units I found you have to bend the three tabs on the back of the bulb to slide it in the bucket without shorting to the rear of the bucket. No room for the connector that is available from the auto parts store. Some day I will change to the bulb-reflector set up that came on these cars. Jack
