Default Sagging 1 1/2 in rear driver side

My 28 A Tudor is sagging by 1 1/2 inch. Where would be a good place to look first?

Thanks

Shackle may have gone over center? Check to see if the left and right are in the same relative position.

Now long has it been this way?

If you push car up on drivers side, will it go back to level and stay there until you drive or sit in it?

I think it is also known sometimes as the Bachelor's sag! My 1928 Tudor and 1928 Roadster are the same.

Cars used over many years with just the driver using it.

I can't remember off-hand Dan. I will try and research them for you.

I am confused?

Are you looking for help with your cars sag, as per your original question, or the colors of your car?

My big problem is the sagging. Yes, it returns to normal when you pick up driver front. What can cause that?

Sticking spring shackles, old grease blocking new grease going in, lack of grease, etc.

Also 90 year old springs.

Think of what your favorite chair would feel like after you had been sitting in it for 90 years watching TV and drinking beer.

Either take them off and refurbish, or replace with new springs. If it were my car. I wouldn’t waste time refurbishing, I would get new springs.
