Default Don Everly Passed Away Yesterday

The Everly brothers were the best. So sad.

Their music always recalls warm memories of my high school days!

My best friend and I in high school flipped his Crosley with Wake Up Little Suzie blaring on the radio from WRVA in Richmond. Had enough adrenalin after that to set it back up on its' wheels, and straighten the tie rod by hand. Even prouder that I did not spill my beer.

The Lord Protects Fools and Drunks. We had double protection.

Among the very, very best. I was lucky enough to see them in 2003.

They had great singing voices for perfect harmony.
Their music will live on for a long-long time.

Here is one of my favorites. (click Off the pestering Ads)

Apparently they semi fell out and stopped touring for a number of years
Got back after many years had a quick practice in the venue carpark and were good to go for the concert -Amazing harmonies

My late Uncle was a very talented singer and bass player in a C&W band. He is also responsible for acquiring the '32's in our family. A tough man with a soft voice and a Korean war vet. I fondly remember him singing this Everly Brothers song as a young man. I'd like to live those days again knowing what I know now.
