I think this is a prime example where the reproductions are an incorrect size. Talk with Will Cronkrite as I think he has made some using the proper thickness material.

I don't use the gaskets but once the glass is in place I put a bead of clear silicone aound the lens. Al

I find putting oil on the gas and radiator cap gaskets help for the first time on. After some time they will take a set, and be better.

Neatsfoot oil is a great leather softener. I bought EXPENSIVE Redwing boots, oiled them with it religiously for 1 1/2 months, they "GREW" by at least 2 sizes!! Back to the shoe store, the shoe Guru said, "Yep, you overdid the Neatsfoot Oil, just do it once a month"! Get this! He said, "Want some THICK liners, or a new pair of boots, FREE"??
