Default Stock Model A head

How much can safely be milled off a stock Model A head to increase compression?

Not enough to make the effort worth it. There's just too much volume in the combustion area.

well, you know the gen is working, the engine will keep running with a battery cable disconnect because the gen is putting power to the coil, disconnecting a batt cable is the fastest way to find out which is bad, a reg or gen. if engine dies the gen is bad, if it keeps running the reg is bad,
