Pete Here's is an explaintion behind the keep Calm posters

"Keep Calm and Carry On is a motivational poster produced by the British government in 1939 in preparation for World War II. The poster was intended to raise the morale of the British public, threatened with widely predicted mass air attacks on major cities". Wikipedia

This is just a comical take on that poster (and there are lots of different ones out there out there for various situations), this one produced for the "grinches" of the current season. "bollocks" is a word of the vernacular more common in England and some other Commonwealth countries....a more polite word "nuts". No offense intended, just a light hearted taking the micky if you get me.

Merry Christmas

A little know fact is that that poster campaign was cancelled and the vast majority were destroyed. A few were discovered well after the war and it became "a thing" as the youngins say...

Merry Christmas to all and to all a flat head Ford!

WOW...Merry Christmas ..from Zimbabwe... I love it.
Funny story about an African Student I once had.
I asked him if he could see a lot of wild animals outside..
He looked at me strangely and answered, we have to go to the zoo to see them.
I used to go to the Bronx zoo a lot as a kid and often thought it would be nice to travel to Africa to see the animals in the wild. Had no idea they had to visit zoos to see them too....Funny..

actually, I live is southeastern Pennyslvania and see all kinds of wild life.. Herds of deer pass by and feed on my lawn everyday. I have seen racoon, possum, turtles, snakes, wild turkeys, without going to the zoo.
