I have a 292 57 Ford with and originals started and it starts right up every time.
If you have slow start issues or just not starting. It's probably not just your starter or the starter torque power.
Make sure to have a good ground and good battery cable on your started. In general. It seems also this is a mini Chevy style starter and nobody reports back about hot start issues which a lot chevys have with this type of start with the solenoid on the top.

I’ve used one of those on my ford yblocks, and several members at yblocksforever have had good long term use from them. I’ve never had the “hot solenoid “ problem Abe mentioned, even with tight headers. But I’ve had plenty of sbc and bbc that did with headers. I used to carry a bottle of water and a funnel to pour on them in the summer to get started.
