Model A club in Prescott Arizona?
I am considering retiring to Prescott area and was wondering if there is a local club or other Model A folks in the area? Thanks, Chuck

Re: Model A club in Prescott Arizona?
I thought the same thing about 10 years ago. We spoke with someone from the Prescott Club and flew there the same day that they had their meeting. It was a good club at the time but I have not followed it up. We moved to E-TN about 8 years ago instead.

Re: Model A club in Prescott Arizona?
I've driven all over the Prescott area in a Model A, and it was beautiful. Of course that was over 50 years ago and I was 17 years old, and my 31 Fordor was less than 30 and only had 15,000 miles on the engine.

No active Prescott club. There is a semi active club in Sedona though, some posters frequent this board.
Years ago there was a club in Prescott. There's a decent (for Prescott) general vintage car club up there though. |

AZModelA is correct. There about 4 of us in the Sedona area that meet now and then, have lunch or breakfast together, and go on a short ride. We've ventured as far south as Prescott, and as far north as Flagstaff. Not too adventurous, but we enjoy an occasional get-together. Our club is the Red Rock A's Chapter of MAFCA, and you'd be more than welcome to join us anytime. I know of about a dozen Model A's in the region, if you count Flagstaff, Sedona, and the Verde Valley. Michael in Sedona |
