Windshield Frame Replacement on Cabriolet
I need to replace the outside Windshield Frame on my 1930 Cabriolet.
1. Is the outside frame replaceable without taking the entire windshield assembly from the car? 2. Should the frame be chrome, stainless steel or polished aluminum? 3. What is the best method to remove the holding screws? 4. Where is the best source to purchase a new frame? Bill Lee/Virginia Peninsula |

Gene Bunce was the supplier of the most recent run of windshields for Cabbys, A400 etc. Gene passed away. Trautwein up in New York actually made most of it and Gene plated and finished You might check with Trautwein and see what's up. Good luck! |
