The radiator shell in the link looks similar to my car (shown in avatar). The bottom panel is black, perhaps painted in years past. My car is titled as a '31 but I have been told the shell is a 1930.

This is what is known as the 1930 shell. Notice that it's stainless at top A 1931 style shell has a black insert at top and bottom.
