Threads on steering shaft
Hi, I am working on my 19309 steering and wondering if the shaft could have been cut on the steering wheel end, the threads measure about 1/2" from the shoulder to the end of the shaft, it is just enough for the jam nut to fit. Thanks

Re: Threads on steering shaft
One maybe two threads above the nut...if that.
From your description it sounds good to go, tighten it down good.

Re: Threads on steering shaft
This threaded end is easily ruined. Use care , good judgement, and a light touch.
