A real all steel roadster with 1948 Mercury engine that has Edmunds Custom heads, early Thickstun 7 inch tall dual intake with 94 carbs, and coated headers with Smittys. 1940 Ford dash and steering column including column shift, red and white rolled and pleated interior, 1940 brakes, 4 in dropped tube axle with chrome 4 bar front end with sway bar. Brand new tires with 1948 Mercury 15 inch wheels on the front and new 16 inch wheels from Wheelsmith on the back. Runs great. Stainless bumpers. Don't want any help with selling so please don't call.
Still chasing the history of the car but previous owner said he bought it from a widow in 1996 who had kept the car as her husband left it when he passed in 1961 and finally decided to let it go.
Asking $41,900. Call Al 757-334-5618 for more info or pictures or arrange to see the car.
