Default '33/ early '34 door latches

I am gathering up parts for my next project.
I have a few sets of 33/34 door latches.
Several of them are passenger side door latches but they have no provision for locking the door.
Am I correct in assuming these are for roadsters/phaetons ?
They look exactly like the other latches except for the missing lock provision.
I know Ford didn't like to waste money.
Thanks for any insight.

The roadster/phaeton latches are completely different than the sedan/coupe latches.Post pic of what you have.

Now I am thinking they might be 4-DR sedan rear door latches. (no lock)

Hi; Right hand drive cars had the key locks on the left side. Those parts do show up occasionally. I found that the 33/early 34 forward latches lock in different directions from the inside. I tried to lock a door and it opened! newc

I think the 4dr rears have a square shaft for the lock lever. How about a pic of the other side?

Must be 33 4dr rear.In the book it says the handle was reversed to lock the door.In '34 it changed to a square shank and that lever. Not to familiar with the 4drs.I'll ad a pic from the book
