There was a color combo called Bonnie Gray any and Chelsea Blue, a very nice paint scheme. The Paint Guide from MAFCA has chips. You can also find this on the AutoColor site.

Not in the US. Canada and other countries, maybe.

The main thing to remember is, if you are not going to enter any fine point judging competitions, paint it what ever color you like. Enjoy!!

If I remember correctly, Chelsea Blue and Hessian Blue were the lightest blues in the '28-'29 palette...

According to the PPG chip chart and factory reproduction schedule there was something called Niagra Blue Light used in 28. the only 29 I see in blue, other than Andalusite Blue, is a taxi cab! This was done in Duchess Blue which according to the chip is sort of a light blue.

That's a pretty blue, but there were no blues that light in the Model A era.

Dad had a '63 Falcon Futura Fordor that was the same light blue

Glenn,

You forgot to include "and if you are not going to sell the car someday,...". Non standard colors frequently present a problem (spelled $$$) when trying to sell.

The closest Model A color to a "Robin's Egg Blue" that I am aware of is perhaps Hessian Blue, but I have always been of the impression that this was a '30-'31 stripe color. On the '28 - '29 color choices, perhaps the closest thing is a Duchess Blue, but this is more of a teal color than a "Robin's Egg Blue". I don't know that this will help any, but good luck to you in whatever you choose.

I think you could pay a dealership to have you car painted purple and yellow if you wanted it that way. Anything for a sale.
