Here's an nice used aluminum cam gear stamper B&D that besides the stock bolt holes also has additional bolt holes to allow advancing or retarding the cam position from the stock location. The gear teeth pitch angle is the early style used from 1932 to 1948 this allows the cam to thrust towards the block. The center hole has been opened up so it can also be used on the later style cam allowing clearance for the distributer drive gear. The amount of degrees changed by using the additional advance or retard location is unknown.
