Default Wiring harness suppliers.

I am going to replace every strand of wire on the '31 this winter. Some of it is original but most is spliced together plastic insulation, basically just junk. In other cars and projects over the years I have gone to what I believe is the best Rhode Island and Naragansett wiring and also a great supplier from Virginia Tyree Harris. My question is this really necessary as there really does seemed to be a lot to it and the vendors seemed to have it all covered.?

Well I think I just answered my own "no brainer" question. Rhode Island wiring main wiring harness is $184.00 compared to Bratton's price of $62.25.

So in your opinion, why is RI or Narraganset wiring higher priced then what you will find from parts vendors or from Tyree?

I have no idea. I always have like Rhode Island for one process they do or used to do crimped and soldered terminal ends. Most including Tyree just crimp. Other than that I suppose Rhode Island is custom made by hand one at a time and cheaper ones are mass produced for the Model A.
