Default Dave Maher- Precision Coachworks

Sorry to say that Dave Maher has passed away. His obituary is in this morning's Lowell Sun newspaper. Rest in peace.

I'm also so sorry to hear this. He made the rocker panels for my 39 Woodie and they were absolutely perfect. I wrote him a letter thanking him for his wonderful craftsmanship in constructing these difficult pieces and he later told me he posted my letter in the front of his customer book. He will be sorely missed he was a true gentleman who contributed a great deal to the hobby. My heart goes out to his family. Toby Lampert

I ordered a catalog from them. The person I talked to sounded like an older man, not sure if it was the man you mention here. Very nice, had me laughing like hell as he explained how he just writes down the info, somebody else enters it in the computer.......Mark

Very sad. Dave made the cowl supports for my '39 convert. Excellant fit and quality. All these old craftsman are leaving us. RIP.

That sucks. I met Dave a number of times. A heck of a nice guy and very, very talented.
