Default Is this for a '32?

I'm assuming so but wanted to be sure. Thanks.

The spindle is certainly not.

If you get some measurements of the axle boss width and the length of the wish bone and the spread of the ball mount part, I'm certain someone will be able to tell you for certain.

Those are the differences between '32 & '33-'34 bones and axles.

That is cetainly an old timey taffy pull dropped axle though. Kind of cool looking in it's cruedness, ya know?

Good luck.

Take a tape measure and hook it on the axle and check the distance from the front edge of the axle to the rear of the wishbone ball . If it is 43 " it's 33-34 . I don't recall this dimension on 32 but someone will . The axle looks like aftermarket dropped to me and your left spindle won't work well with no place to put the drag link . David J

Man that's a hefty taffy stretch on that axle.

Ball center to perch center '32 = 47.5 '33/'34 = 45.5
Clevis span = 2"

Looks liake a '37/'41 spindle.

I measured a stock '32 wishbone on the axle at 47 1/2" from the center of the top hole of the wishbone yoke at the axle to the center of the ball. Those perches are Model A, they will work with hydraulics and their appearance can be cleaned up quite a bit. The left spindle is a '37-'41, so called "round back", and hydraulics go right on with plenty of disc options too if you are so inclined. BTW, a commercially available steering arm can be used on that spindle with an adjustable drag link, or you can use cross steer with a '37-'41 right side spindle.

I don't think the axle is 1932, but hard to tell from these pics (for me anyways). Need a closeup of where the wishbone hooks onto the axle.

Model A, me thinks, especially with that much stretch in the axle ends.

Looks like a '33-'36 "dago" the way the drop is hammered.

Vince Falter's website has all the various wishbones (A through '34) shown with dimensions. (And lots of other wonderful information!)
