Re: My 1935 Cabriolet in "HEMMINGS CLASSIC CAR"
Mike I was in the airport and I picked up the Hemmings Classic Magazine for something to read on my trip to Kauai and I enjoyed reading about your car nice to see that you left it original. The article on the 1940 Lincoln V12 was also a good read…..

Congratulations your car looks great, I am biased when it comes to 35 cabriolets, I must try getting my hands on a copy of the magazine.

Dad passed a year ago, and I'm leaning towards selling this car, and keeping the '34. It's not quite as nice in person as the pictures show, but it's a true survivor... and still has the original interior, which as far as I know, there is no true reproduction parts for. The car is definitely a driver, and I was hauling the kids around Daytona in the rumble seat this summer. Thanks! |

I'm looking to move the car... Right now, $30k FIRM would buy it.

Now Mikes son is posting under the same avatar/member listing that his Dad used, which is fine with me, but possibly a bit confusing to some here who did not know the full story.

Re: My 1935 Cabriolet in "HEMMINGS CLASSIC CAR"
Carnuut, the 35 5w coupes are not that difficult to find, IMO. When I was looking for a '35 3w coupe, I probably found them in a 3 or 4 (5w) to 1(3w) ratio. I finally gave up on a 3w and bought a nice 5w, only to have good deals start pop up on 3w coupes.

The post about the '35 is relevant to him, as most in this community know the cars through his posts here. If I decide to stick around and become an active member, I'll definitely get my own user name. Thanks Mike (Jr) |

Fordbarn should have a listing of our members who have passed away. A way to "retire their number" so-to-speak and as a memorial to those who have contributed and enjoyed this hobby as we all do. If one wishes to do so of course.
