Default 56 f250 w/ 215, power steering?

Just found a 56 F250 with a 215 6 cyl. that I believe is a replacment engine.
Has power steering been added to this combination succesfully by anyone. I do know of the Toyota swap. Just curious if there was anything else to consider.Even with as large of steering wheel as it has it can be tough at low speeds.

It may need lubricant or possibly an overhaul or the king pins need service. My Pop had Ford 2 ton trucks and 1-ton pickups and they never seemed to be all that difficult to steer. We always had grease guns around the farm so we would service them before each harvest.

I had a 54 F250 with a 239 V8. It was not tough to steer, either. I had new king pins put in it when I owned it. Those are great trucks, other than the door strikers, which were subject to wear, maybe because the hinges sagged some? Maybe they figured that one out by 56.
