What are you 'export guys' using for wiring harnesses for a 1930?

Re: RHD Wiring Harness
I just use a LHD harness and extend the required wires. It is the light and horn harness that is different, the engine harness is the same.

Thanks. Is that the best option, -or just what restorers are using? I hate to extend wires as that won't look the best since the power wire from the generator would need to be lengthened and would easily be seen. |

Re: RHD Wiring Harness
Effectively the LHD loom is turned upside down to connect to the headlights . The power wire to the light switch is joined under the rad where the loom runs across same for the horn wires . I use the same pattern wire so it looks original and as the connections are under the radiator they cannot be seen . I make sure that the connections are watertight as that area can get wet etc etc .

Tell Tyree Harris what you want and I bet he will make one up for you as specified.

Re: RHD Wiring Harness
I have purchased both my RHD harnesses from a local supplier, unfortunately he has now passed on, so I am unsure what the other local suppliers are offering. In the U.S. Rhode Island Wiring offer a RHD harness. (http://www.riwire.com) I have no experience with their products, but looks like a good alternative to splicing wires on a LHD loom.

Re: RHD Wiring Harness
Bick's suggestion of Rhode Island Wire is good. I used them on an antique tractor restoration. They have every cloth color combo under the sun and a loom to wrap them per your instructions.
