Brent I'm goin waaaay back. When I street rodded my 30 ccpu back in 69 I bought a boxed frame that happened to have a Ross box. It served me well. I was told it was actually for a fork lift.

Ross steering boxes were used in industrial equipment, forklifts ect. Trackmobile used one in a 3 TM and the 5 TM,two bolt lash up,square sector shaft like an A. They also made some hydraulic steering gears for heavy trucks and truck platforms.
