Default Tail Light Question

I am working on the tail lights of my 29 tudor. The lights on it now are amber on top, and red on the bottom. I don't know if they are correct, or something added by someone in the past. Did model A's have amber & red tail lights, or do I have the result of someone's "upgrade"?

That would be correct for mid 1929 and later.

Thanks for the info. Mine is a early 29 (engine Jan. & Body # April), so I'll switch to all red.

Which brings up another question. The top lights up when the brakes are applied, so the brake lights are amber on later model A's?

Every day you learn something new is a good one! (retired teacher here)
I guess that was long before national standards for automobile light colors.
